2026 Submissions will open on OCTOBER 27, 2025!
As with our sister festival, NORTHWESTFEST, our mandate is to find and showcase new & emerging filmmaking talent, and we program our festival almost entirely from the submissions we receive.
Important dates:
EARLYBIRD DEADLINE: December 14, 2025
REGULAR DEADLINE: February 15, 2026
EXTENDED SUBMISSION DEADLINE: March 6, 2026
Notifications will be sent on April 7, 2026
*As an added bonus, Alberta-made films are exempt from submission fees
