LEVITICUS
Directed by Adrian Chiarella | 2026 | 88 min | Australia
Starring Joe Bird (Talk to Me), Stacy Clausen (Thrash), Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland)
One of the buzziest films at this year’s Sundance and SXSW film festivals, we’re thrilled to be opening Rainbow Visions 2026 with one of the summer’s most highly anticipated films. From the producers of The Babadook and Talk To Me, two teenage boys must escape a violent entity that takes the form of the person they desire most—each other.
*All-Access passholders will have seats held until 15 minutes before showtime or tickets held aside to be booked once All-Access online booking codes become available.
*Sorry, no Silverscreen passes
SHE’S THE HE
Directed by Siobhan McCarthy | 2026 | 81 min | USA
Starring Mark Indelicato (Hacks), Nico Carney (We Are Pat), Suzanne Cryer (Silicon Valley), Misha Osherovich (Freaky)
Before graduation, Ethan and Alex decide to pose as trans women in a last-ditch effort to quell gay rumours. It’s all a joke until Ethan realizes she really is trans. The two must reckon with their changing friendship, coming out, and coming-of-age. In the tradition of the wild and raunchy 80’s teen sex comedies, SHE’S THE HE is an outrageous, uproarious teen comedy for the ages.
DEPARTURES
Directed by Neil Ely, Lloyd Eyre-Morgan
Starring Lloyd Eyre-Morgan, David Tag, Liam Boyle
In this absolute knockout of a feature directorial debut for co-directors Neil Ely and Lloyd Eyre-Morgan, the story begins when Benji and Jake meet at an airport gate, immediately sensing attraction. Their relationship unfolds through Amsterdam trips woven in intimacy, revealing complex power dynamics. Reminiscent of the nonstop, balls-to-the-wall early films of Danny Boyle (in particular, Trainspotting), DEPARTURES is one of the brashest debut features in ages, and one of the best films of the year, period.
